Carnival Cruise Line have revealed that their third Vista-class ship, Carnival Panorama is set to be based out of Long Beach, California when it is launched in 2019.
Panorama will head straight to her homeport without doing a European season of cruises unlike sister ships Carnival Vista and Carnival Horizon. Both of those Vista-class ships completed a handful of sailings in Europe before heading to their homeports.
Panorama will offer a similar experience onboard to the two other Vista-class ships, including the SkyRide, WaterWorks aqua park as well as dining options such as Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse and Bonsai Sushi.
Carnival Cruise Line President, Christine Duffy, said: “As part of our commitment and belief in this market, we will be bringing our third Vista-class ship, Carnival Panorama, to be based here in 2019. It’s the first time that Carnival will position a brand-new ship, straight from the yard, here in Long Beach.”
